Chef's Notes and Tips
- I have used whole milk and vanilla ice cream to make this milkshake and you can use your favorite ice cream for different flavors. Always use cold whole milk for a perfectly thick and creamy milkshake
- Keep the ice cream at room temperature for about 5 to 10 minutes once they are out of the freezer. This helps the ice cream to soften and help in easy blending with the milk
- You can also make this drink without a blender by just mixing the ice cream into the milk until they combine
- Make sure not to use ice cubes while blending the milk and ice cream which makes the drink thin and watery
- Always make sure not to substitute milk with heavy whipped cream which starts to turn butter when blended
- I have topped this drink with whipping cream and some red sprinkles and you can also use chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, and other toppings of your choice
- If you choose to use mixins like cookies, nuts, or choco bites, blend them for 30 to 40 seconds once you have processed the milk and ice cream
- You can also use dairy-free ice cream and milk to make this drink
